CTSBM0009.2 Steering Wheel Control & Warning Tone Interface
The CTSBM009.2 Steering Wheel Interface allows you to change the factory original headunit to an aftermarket car stereo whilst maintaining the use of your factory stalk/steering controls. There is also a built in Warning Tone Interface to retains OEM parking sensor audio and warning tones such as oil/washer fluid level, door open and seat belt chimes.

BMW fitted with Business Professional Head Unit
- BMW 1 Series – E8X (2004 – 2010)
- BMW 3 Series – E9X (2006 – 2011)
- BMW 5 Series – E60/E61 (2004 – 2010)
- BMW 6 Series – E63/E64 (2004 – 2010)
- BMW 7 Series – E65 (2002 – 2008)
- BMW Mini (2006 – 2015)
- BMW Z4 – E89 (2009 – 2015)
The Interface consist of two parts; The Steering Wheel Interface and the Car Stereo Patch Lead.
The Patch Lead Supplied can be used with the following:
- Alpine
- Beat
- Clarion
- JVC (headunit with 3.5mm jack or single wire)
- LG
- Kenwood
- Panasonic
- Pioneer
- Sony
- Zenec
- Chinese Branded Headunits
For the chinese branded headunit you have to configure the patch lead according to what your head unit requires:
- 2 Wire Resistive Learning
- 3.5mm Jack Learning
This will depend on the headunit type, most chinese brand stereos have 3 wires marked SW1, SW2, GND. This is the 2 Wire Resistive Learning Type Patch Lead. Then there are those that uses 3.5mm Jack (headphone) type connection, for this one you need to choose the 3.5mm Jack Learning Patch Lead.
The interface also provides the following ouput:
- Ignition Switched feed
- Illumination
- Speed Pulse
- Reverse
