This is a plug-and-play adapter required in vehicles which have an original D2B Optical Bus System (COMAND 2.0 & COMAND 2.5 Systems), it provides high-quality audio and video for your in-car entertainment needs.
Please note that this optical fibre decoder box will NOT decode the MOST Bus Base System (COMAND APS NTG 2 or COMAND APS NTG 2.5)
To identify whether this optical fibre decoder box can decode your vehicles COMAND 2.0 & COMAND 2.5 system information, please check your vehicle’s plug port.
